62nd Annual Emmy Roundup
With the Emmy’s fast approaching (Monday the 29th!) let’s take a look at some of the nominations, and my predictions for winners.
Outstanding Comedy Series - Modern Family
Modern Family made a splash with their first season, easily becoming one of the funniest shows around. After all, they get to play with all the stereotypes and get to make all the corresponding jokes… except being black. Easily one of the best comedy shows on TV.
Outstanding Drama Series - Mad Men/LOST
Mad Men is one of the few period TV shows that really hit the main stream. Set in the 60’s it follows the life of Don Draper at an advertising agency. This show is REALLY receiving a lot of other attention, but will probably lose out to LOST - because really, LOST!
Outstanding Reality Program - Mythbusters
Thankfully shows like Jersey Shore or The Hills aren’t on here. Mythbusters is the only show that people pay attention to. No offense to Dirty Jobs, Undercover Boss, Kathy Griffin and Antiques Roadshow.
