The Expendables
Let’s make no mistake, The Expendables is an action movie for everyone. Action movies now days feature three main things.
- An effeminate male lead who can’t seem to string together a sentence.
- A way-to-curvy-how-does-she-not-have-back-problems female for the guys.
- Explosions.
The Expendables does away with numbers 1 and 2 leaving behind exactly what action movies should be. A bunch of dudes shooting each other and punching each other in what can only be described as Glorious.
There’s no semi-naked females; no girly-men. This is an action movie for action movie fans.
Ignore the “movie critic” ratings. They’re looking for things like “plots” and “hidden meanings”. The Expendables doesn’t mess with that crap. You get a bunch of guys and their job is to kill another bunch of guys.
Glorious.
